You are looking at a beautiful Yamaha YCL-34Bb clarinet.This all wood instrumentis considered an intermediate modelfor students stepping up from a beginner clarinet. It is the predecessor of Yamaha\'s YCL-450 model and has comparable performance. The key plating is excellent plus the corks and springswork well.The body of the instrument hasminimalscratchesand no cracks.The serial number includes A-II, which indicates that this is a more recent version.
This Yamaha has been thoroughly reconditioned:Itwas completely disassembled and cleaned, the keys were hand polished andall new Valentino pads were installed.In addition,the keys werealigned and lubricatedwhen the clarinet was re-assembled. That means that not only will this clarinetbe a fine playernow, but it will continue to perform wellfor years with minimal servicing.The currentYamaha studentmodels allcome withthis same Valentino style of pads (which are more durable), so in that respect this clarinet is just as good as a new one.
