About the Album
Released in 1985, Hunting High and Low was the debut album from Norwegian trio a-ha: Morten Harket, Pål Waaktaar and Magne Furuholmen.
The album\'s combination of synthesizers, atmospheric production, pop songwriting and Harket\'s unmistakable vocals became one of the defining sounds of mid-1980s synth-pop.
Its best-known track, “Take On Me,” became a signature song for the band, while “The Sun Always Shines on T.V.,” “Train of Thought” and “Hunting High and Low” demonstrated that the album extended well beyond its biggest hit.
