This copy carries a family record in ink: John Leonard Felzer married Ann Hinton on 29 May 1803, their son John Leonard was born in April 1804 and died in January 1806 aged 20 months, and Ann Felzer of Little Ormond Street, Queen Square, Bloomsbury died in September 1822 aged 53. Two old silk and perforated card bookmarks, \"God is Love\" and \"I Love Thee\", are included.
Full grained leather with gilt roll borders to both boards, gilt spine with raised bands, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers. Rubbing and wear to extremities, corners bumped with one corner worn through to the board, spine ends chipped with small cracks at the head. A few small scuffs and surface losses to the front board. Front inner hinge cracked but holding on the cords. Pages age toned with occasional spotting. Inscribed on front-end leaves. Please see all pictures for the overall condition.
