Antique Elite Works Limoges France Hand-Painted Rose Porcelain Plate – Circa 1900-1914
Beautiful authentic antique French porcelain plate produced by Elite Works of Limoges, France, associated with the Bawo & Dotter firm.
The reverse carries the Elite Works / Limoges France factory-decoration mark and is specifically marked “Hand painted.” This style of mark dates the piece to approximately 1900-1914, placing it in the early 20th-century production period of Elite Works.
The plate features large individually hand-painted roses in shades of deep magenta, rose pink and pale pink, accented by soft green foliage and long painted stems. The floral decoration is arranged around an open white center, giving the plate a very attractive cabinet-display appearance.
The porcelain has an elegant scalloped edge finished with gold gilt trim.
No artist signature was found, so the individual decorator is unknown. Because the decoration is hand painted rather than a simple printed floral transfer, variations in brushwork and shading are part of the character of the Elite Works / Bawo & Dotter

No chips or cracks found, and I do not see obvious crazing in the photographs. The porcelain remains glossy and the floral decoration displays beautifully. There is expected age-related wear to the gold rim, including thinning and loss in several areas. Minor surface wear and small areas of paint/surface specking are visible upon close inspection. The reverse shows normal age and foot-ring wear. Please examine all photographs carefully for exact condition.
