The City of Bothell was part of the early passenger and freight transportation network serving Bothell, Lake Washington and the Sammamish River before road transportation took over. Historical Bothell sources specifically document the City of Bothell operating in the area and show period photographs of the vessel navigating the original river channel and arriving at local landings.
Historical photographic records also identify a City of Bothell with Capt. Edward Cox as early as 1900, helping place this card in the early 1900s period.
The reverse is unused. Condition shows substantial age and handling wear, including a long vertical crease/crack through the card, edge and corner wear, toning and other surface wear. Please see photos carefully for exact condition.
Sold as is and as found. Please ask any and all questions BEFORE committing to purchase. Thank you.
