Very rare oversized Victorian-era tobacco trade card issued by B. Leidersdorf & Co. of Milwaukee, WI for their "Old Abe" brand smoking and chewing tobacco.
The front contains a gorgeous portrait of President Abraham Lincoln set against a patriotic flag motif containing advertising for the brand and company. The reverse is blank with some spotting as shown in the hi-res scans.
The lithography is attributed to "H. Gugler & Son, gen'l lithos" and the card measures approximately 3 5/16" x 5 3/4". A gorgeous historical and political piece overall, please see the scans for additional condition details - thanks!
