Excellent Condition. Taken by a popular photographer in Napoleon Ohio who made many images in the late 18th Century. ...The acronym on the front of his kepi-style hat is the most specific identifier. Given that the photographer operated out of Napoleon, Ohio, "NOB" heavily points toward a local organization. The letter "B" in late-19th-century cap insignia almost universally stands for "Band" or "Battalion". It is highly likely this represents the "Napoleon Ohio Band" or a specific branch of a fraternal order active in Henry County during the 1880s or 1890s.
