The manuscript contains extensive period handwriting including accounts, calculations, memoranda, names and other entries. The rear family register records members of the Sibley family, including George B. Sibley, Albert H. Sibley, Arletta A. Sibley, Winfield S. Sibley and Joseph J. Sibley.
Research indicates this family group matches the children named in the Last Will and Testament of Joseph J. Sibley of Jackson County, Missouri, whose will also names his wife Laura A. Sibley and daughter Arletta A. Shults.
The family register includes 19th-century birth information associated with St. Charles, Illinois, as well as an 1835 marriage entry associated with Buffalo, New York. Some handwriting is difficult to decipher, so buyers should examine photographs and conduct their own genealogical research.

Condition: Antique condition with substantial age-related wear. Handwriting is very faded in areas. Pages show toning, staining, edge wear, tears and losses. Binding is fragile with exposed/loose stitching, and some leaves are loose or partially detached. No restoration has been attempted. Please examine all photographs carefully.
