1950\'s/1960\'s Paramount Wood/Bakelite 4 String Banjo Very Good Condition:

Did a lot of research on this. Unfortunately not of the same vintage or source as the famous Lange Paramount banjos of the early century. Likely this was made by Harmony (perhaps Fender) and branded with a familiar label to make it more desirable. Likely a student banjo from the 1950\'s and 1960\'s, the neck is wood and the resonator is bakelite. I don\'t think it shows in the photos but there is a hole 2/3 of the way up the fretboard where a fifth string would be mounted. I can\'t play to save my life so I would not know what a good sounding banjo would sound like if it hit me in the head but I do know there are no breaks or cracks so it should sound fine. Measures 39 inches end to end, the resonator is 13 inches across and it\'s three inches thick.
