Offered here is a LOT of 5x Italian Model 1891 En Bloc clips, also known as \"chargers\". These were made for rapid easy reloading of the rifle\'s fixed magazine. They differ from a detachable magazine in that an en bloc feeds directly into the action and is ejected automatically when the last round is fired. They hold 6 rounds of ammunition. Also, they fit both the 6.5mm caliber and 7.35 caliber cartridges.
We have several LOTs of these and the photographs are a representative of what you will receive. There are NO guarantees of markings, many seem to have \"SMI\" and a five pointed star next to \"39\". Some of the markings are hard to see. We did not separate LOTs by markings.
Overall, these En Bloc clips are in Fair - Fair Plus / Good condition, considering their age and history. Some have light oxidation, scrapes and scratches - see photographs. The feed lips appear to be straight and seem functional. A few may be slightly bent out of shape but can easily be bent back into place, but overall they appear to be functional. Some of the metal appears to have been refinished at some point, others have started to turn a darker patina color. There are a variety of color shades.
Most LOTs have several with markings, some are hard to read. They appear to be \"SMI\" and a \"five pointed star\" next to \"39\".
These will be great En Bloc clips to use on your favorite various Italian Carcano rifles, or handy for future spares. As with all used items, a light cleaning may be necessary to meet your standards. Please see our photographs for a better understanding of the contents and their condition.
