A museum-rare, cross-Atlantic antique silver treasure. This pocket-sized double folding button hook features an exquisite American Art Nouveau floral and wheat sheaf relief handle. It is a rare dual-stamped import piece, bearing the American "STERLING 11" mark on one side and official 1830 British hallmarks for Birmingham on the other.
The tool houses two strong folding steel hooks on smooth swivel pivots. When opened, the smaller glove hook extends to 1-3/8" and the larger boot hook extends to 1-5/8". Both fold completely flush inside the 2-1/2" casing. Excellent antique condition with a gorgeous natural patina.
