This is a pair of German Grodnertal wooden peg dolls with articulated wooden limbs . They are from the 1850s and stand at 7” and 1 3/4” tall. Each has her original clothing in cotton floral fabrics and cotton muslin.etc.They present nicely as a Mother with her child. The sewn repairs add an authentic historic charm to the pair.Here is a rare treasure!
