Antique Continental carved and painted wood figure of a child / cherub / putti, likely 18th or 19th century.
This piece was from a personal sale purchase in 2011 and has been in private possession since.
The figure has a wonderful old painted surface with visible age, patina, paint wear, chips, scuffs, and surface crazing throughout. There are old metal mounting/hanging rings on the back and lower area. A visible crack line is present near the arm/shoulder area, along with other age-related wear.
Measures approximately 14 inches long.
