Antique Pairpoint Limoges Porcelain Pitcher, Floral Art Nouveau, 15.5\" H For Sale

This gorgeous Pairpoint ewer is an antique gem manufactured in Limoges France and dates between 1880s and 1900. This wonderful and rare piece is marked with impressed “Pairpoint Limoges” in green and number 2020/257 in blue. The piece was most likely decorated in Bedford, Massachusetts.

The vase features a curvaceous, raised pattern along the rim, bottom and handle painted in a bright green pastel color. The light beige background fades into a white tone around the center of the piece, accentuating the hand painted flowers. Gold brush strokes bring the curly edges a delicate and refined finish. The piece evokes the aesthetic sensitivity of Austrian Art Nouveau – similar to the works of Alfred Stellmacher. This piece is perfect for collectors of Limoges pieces, Art Nouveau collectors, and Pairpoint collectors, and would make a thoughtful gift for a special occasion or loved one.

Condition - The ewer is in excellent condition for its age. Colors and gold are in excellent shape. We did not find cracks or chips. Please see photos for additional information about the item condition.
