Originally manufactured as premium \"blanks\" by the renowned Sarreguemines & Digoin factory (circa 1875–1919), these pieces were beautifully hand-decorated in an independent artisan studio to replicate the highly coveted 18th-century Faience de Lille style. To maintain the antique illusion, the decorator painted the historic \"Lille 1765\" mark on the reverse, occasionally obscuring the original Sarreguemines factory stamp.What’s Included:

• 1 Monumental 27\"x11\" Oval Serving Platter: Features a breathtaking, highly detailed pastoral village festival scene signed \"D. Teniers\" (rendered after the famous Flemish master David Teniers the Younger).
• 8 Matching Scalloped Plates (Approx. 9.5\"): Beautifully decorated with unique 18th-century pastoral couples, ruins, and a delicate pink rose border. Select plates are hand-signed by the master studio artist, \"E. DUC.\"

Condition Report:
Overall, this set is in excellent antique condition for its age, retaining vibrant colors and beautiful glaze. Specific flaws are minor and noted below:

• Six (6) plates and the massive 28\" platter are in beautiful shape with no chips or cracks.
• One (1) plate features some darkening with glaze crazing and a small rim chip on the backside
• One (1) plate features a small cosmetic chip on the front surface and a rim chip.
