Up for sale is a rare and exceptionally beautiful antique late-19th-century French faïence decorative plate produced by the renowned Opaque de Sarreguemines foundry in France. This piece features the highly sought-after "Dindon" (Turkey) design, showcasing a regal, stylized turkey rendered in a deep flow/cobalt blue finish. The bird is set against a meticulously detailed, gold-swirled filigree background and framed by a repeating floral-scroll multi-color border.
Condition: Pre-owned antique. Excellent condition for its age. The back shows a clean white glaze, and the front artwork and gold gilt remain vivid. (Note to buyer: Please see photos for exact condition. No major structural cracks or large chips).
