An authentic original 1-real denomination silver Spanish colonial era cob coin, mounted in a custom designed and handcrafted bezel setting to be worn as a pendant. The bezel is solid Sterling silver with solid 14k yellow gold as well, (the prongs and accent orbs are solid gold), and is open on both sides, making it fully reversible. Both sides of this coin are very attractive, and it is designed to be truly reversible. The coin pendant features a flared/tapered bail at the top of the bezel, for the pendant to be worn as a necklace on a chain or cord. The bail is attached to the bezel itself via a freely swinging swivel jumpring allowing more articulated movement of the pendant while being worn. This is an absolutely spectacular coin, and it makes for an even more spectacular pendant.
