Tests conducted in a certified laboratory confirm that these plates provide protection against 57-BZ-231 (7.62x39 BZ – armor-piercing incendiary) and 57-N-232s (7.62x54 LPS) rounds, as well as against shrapnel, fragments of various sizes, and ricochets.
Important! If the body armor carrier lacks a shock-absorbing pad between the chest and the armor plate, the manufacturer recommends using a dampener inserted beneath the plate within the carrier. This helps reduce back-face deformation caused by high-kinetic-energy projectiles.
