Christ Pantokrator seated facing on a throne, with nimbus, right hand raised in blessing and Gospels held in the left. The strike on this side is weak, worn and only partially preserved.REVERSE:
Isaac Komnenos standing facing, crowned and wearing the loros, holding a cruciform scepter and akakia. The Virgin stands at right and crowns the emperor. The coronation scene is unusually recognizable on this specimen and provides the strongest support for the attribution.REFERENCES:

Ancient bronze coin with an irregular, thin flan; green and dark patina; surface deposits; wear; areas of weak strike; edge loss; and visible surface or lamination loss. The Christ side is faint and incomplete, while the coronation side retains substantially stronger detail. The recorded weight is lighter than many published examples, likely influenced by the thin flan and material loss.Attribution is based on the surviving design, fabric and published references.
