This is an HMS WARSPITE cover! It sent by Lt. Commander Cuthbert to his wife in October of 1939 in England. It was sent from HMS Warspite, a ship known as: \"The Most Decorated Ship in the Royal Navy, ever.\" What makes this little beauty really special is the PASSED BY CENSOR Handstamp in BLACK on the front. It\'s also initialed, which is VERY RARE! This was sent very shortly before WWII officially broke out.This lot also comes with an article that goes into far greater detail about the HMS Warspite!
