COMPLETE FOUR VOLUME SET. BOOKS ARE NEAR FINE WITH OVER 100 ILLUSTRATIONS EACH. THE MAJORITY ARE BLACK AND WHITE WITH MAYBE 8-10 COLOR ILLUSTRATIONS PER BOOK.
THE FOUR VOLUMES ARE FIRST EDITIONS PRINTED IN CONSECUTIVE YEARS; 1946, 1947, 1948 AND 1949.
ALL FOUR HAVE DUST JACKETS. THREE OF THE FOUR ARE GOOD OR BETTER WITH EDGE CHIPS AND MINOR STAINING(THERE IS A TEAR TO BOTTOM OF FRONT PANEL OF VOLUME 3) (PHOTO 2-LOWER LEFT).. THE FOURTH DUST JACKET IS ACCEPTABLE ONLY WITH A LARGE SECTION LOST ON FRONT PANEL AS WELL AS A SECOND SMALLER SECTION. THE SPINE AND REAR PANEL REMAIN FUNCTIONAL ON THAT ONE.
