It is a used case and does show some wear use as pictured. There is one small scratch in the leather on the back side as you can see in the pictures .Check the pictures as they are a part of the description.
I did some research and they steered me to the “CAPTAINS” style. Due to the edge cuts to the style of the police captain’s pocket back in those days.
I do not have a key for the lock. The flap over is a great addition to the briefcase as it will divide it into sections somewhat.
