Description
The product is a rare vintage J.C. Freeman Brooklyn Lions 1941 football jersey in size XXL. This officially licensed National Football League (NFL) jersey features the Brooklyn Lions team logo and colors, making it a must-have for any fan or collector of football memorabilia. Made for men, this grid iron piece is a unique addition to any sports memorabilia collection, perfect for showing support for the Brooklyn Lions and the NFL.
The Brooklyn Lions were not an NFL franchise. They were a football club that played in the American Association, a regional professional football league that operated outside the NFL during the late 1930s and early 1940s. Many of these teams competed at a high level and occasionally featured former NFL players. The league disappeared during World War II as many players entered military service.
Because there were very few surviving uniforms, modern companies later created tribute jerseys celebrating these forgotten teams.
