SIAM – KING CHULALONGKORN SURCHARGES – COLLECTION PART 2
Interesting specialized group of 5 unused Siam surcharge stamps from the reign of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V).
The stamps are based on the classic \"SIAM POSTAGE & REVENUE\" 2 and 3 Atts issues and show different Siamese surcharge types and settings.
The stamps were carefully arranged according to the Michel catalogue by the previous collector.
Specialist note:
These early Siam provisional surcharge issues are a specialized collecting field. Different surcharge types, settings and varieties exist. The individual surcharge varieties have not been expertized and the stamps are therefore offered exactly as shown for specialist Stamps 1–3 have original gum and are lightly hinged. Stamp 4 is without gum. Stamp 5 has original gum and is lightly hinged, but has a vertical crease. Fronts and backs are shown.
