Ink and watercolor painting attributed to Henri Matisse dated 1933.The paper has a good bit of foxing visible. I purchased this in Costa Rica around 20 years ago. The painting was loose in the frame and had some bubbling, not laying flat. I later had it reframed and attached to a backing for support. The frame shop assured me it could be reversed if desired.There is a certificate of authenticity included dated 1956. It authorizes the signature in the “lower left corner” when in fact it is in the lower right! Take it for what it’s worth.I paid a pretty good price for this when I bought it and plan to sell it for a pretty good price - or keep it. If you fall in love with it like I did it will be worth it.
