Up for sale is an incredibly rare, museum-grade piece of American racing history: the actual winner\'s circle presentation blankets awarded to the legendary champion greyhound \"Granny’s Pick\" during a historic 1967 campaign.
Granny’s Pick (Coakfield Hero x Betty Barr, owned by D.Q. Williams) was one of the most dominant athletes of the era, officially named to the 1967 All-American Greyhound Team as one of the top 8 greyhounds in the United States.
Both blankets feature a heavy burlap/canvas weave with original vibrant stenciling, contrasting fabric borders, and intact under-belly straps and metal snaps. They are in excellent vintage condition with strong colors and very minimal wear—perfect for framing, sports museums, or high-end memorabilia collections.
