Vintage Baseball Cabinet Card Photo, circa 1890s-1900s. Unidentified young pitcher posed mid wind-up, ball held overhead in both hands. Wool jersey reads \"CLARENCE COLTS\" across the chest -- a documented town baseball team from Clarence, Cedar County, Iowa (per the Cedar County, Iowa Sesquicentennial historical timeline). Period cap, knee pants, and tall socks; studio pose on a patterned rug backdrop, thick card mount with beveled edge. Card measures approximately 4 1/2 x 6 inches. Condition shows expected age: foxing/spotting across the image and mount, worn and rounded corners, light surface creasing, and a surface scruff with paper loss on the upper right of the back.
