The surface subgrade is 8.5, the lowest of the four, which is what keeps this from being a 9.5. The overall is a clean MINT 9.

Raymond Berry autographs are not rare in themselves — he has signed a great deal over the years and his ordinary certified autos trade modestly. ABOUT RAYMOND BERRY:

A Pro Football Hall of Famer, inducted in 1973, and one of the most technically precise receivers the game has had. He led the NFL in receptions three years running and finished his thirteen seasons in Baltimore with 631 catches — the most in league history at the time. He is best remembered for the 1958 NFL Championship, the sudden-death game against the Giants still called the Greatest Game Ever Played, in which he caught twelve passes for 178 yards. He later coached New England to Super Bowl XX.
