Authentic Antique Yellow Ware Miniature Chamber Pot with White Slip Band – Excellent Condition
Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible American yellow ware miniature chamber pot (often collected as a salesman\'s sample or 19th-century child\'s toy novelty). This diminutive piece features a classic buff-yellow clay body adorned with a single, prominent cream-white slip band around the center and a small applied side handle.
Dimensions:
• Height: 1-7/8 inches (Stands just shy of 2 inches)
• Rim Diameter: 2-3/4 inches (Approx. 3-1/4 inches including the handle)
Condition Report:
Excellent antique condition overall with fantastic structural integrity. The underside features beautiful, tight all-over glaze crazing consistent with age. Please note that the dark line on the bottom is an inherent, under-glaze manufacturing kiln mark/firing inclusion, NOT a crack or hairline. The piece is solid and free of post-production structural damage, with only expected micro-wear/flea bites along the rims from age.
Please review all photos to appreciate the unique craftsmanship, crazing, and authentic fingerprint on this pristine primitive miniature.
Feel free to message me with any questions and as always, I am happy to combine shipping to save you money! Thank you and God bless!
