About the Artwork:
“Saturn’s Cube 2” is an archival pigment print by street art and graffiti pioneer Doze Green, released July 7, 2018 through Galerie Openspace in Paris (since renamed to Chenus Longhi Gallery). This piece was produced in a limited edition of 100, hand-signed and numbered by the artist. This example is numbered 61/100, signed in pencil by Doze Green in the lower right, with the edition number in the lower left.
The composition is rendered in Doze Green’s signature style - dense, interlocking figures in a hot palette of reds, oranges, and yellows, built from his intricate linework and layered “biological entities.” It’s a striking, gallery-quality piece for collectors of street art and contemporary urban art.
About the Artist:
Doze Green (b. 1964, New York) is a pioneering figure of the 1970s Hip-Hop and graffiti movements and a member of the legendary Rock Steady Crew. He started as a subway-tagging graffiti artist who performed breakdance exhibitions at galleries in SoHo and the Lower East Side before transitioning from walls to canvas.  Over a decades-long career, Doze has exhibited internationally, received public art commissions, and developed a distinctive visual language combining calligraphy, cubism, and graphic design - figures he calls “biological entities,” which reflect on humanity, memory, and the passage of time. He’s counted among the top tier of graffiti-rooted contemporary artists alongside names like Futura, Daze, and Lady Pink.
The print will be rolled between two sheets of Kraft paper and packed securely in a heavy-duty cardboard tube, which will be contained within additional cardboard packaging for shipping.
The package will be shipped with insurance for the full purchase price, and will require signature for delivery.
