Vintage IBM Personal Computer 300PL desktop PC, Machine Type 6862, Model 29U.
The computer powers on and produces video output. It successfully reaches the IBM startup screen and BIOS/Setup. The system detects 160 MB of RAM.
A hard drive is installed and the computer reaches the Windows NT Server Version 4.00 boot menu. Both normal Windows NT and VGA Mode were attempted. The operating system begins loading but eventually crashes with a blue screen / STOP error. Because of this, the computer is being sold AS-IS for repair, restoration, parts, or vintage computing use.
The system also reports “161 Bad CMOS Battery,” so the CMOS battery will need replacement.

* Actual CD reading was not tested
* Actual floppy disk reading/writing was not tested
* Other ports, expansion cards, networking, audio, and all other functions were not fully tested
The installed CD-ROM is an IBM 24X IDE drive, FRU 12J3521, manufactured May 1997.
Please review all photos carefully for the exact internal components and cosmetic condition. Due to the age of the computer and the Windows boot issue, no further functionality is guaranteed. Sold AS-IS.
