SIAM – KING CHULALONGKORN 24 ATTS SURCHARGES – COLLECTION PART 3
Interesting specialized group of 5 unused Siam provisional surcharge stamps from the reign of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V), all based on the classic 24 Atts \"SIAM POSTAGE & REVENUE\" stamp.
The group includes different Siamese surcharge types as well as examples with 1 atts, 4 atts and 4 atts. surcharges. The differences in the surcharge settings make this an interesting group for the specialist collector.
The stamps were carefully arranged according to the Michel catalogue by the previous collector.

The early Siam provisional surcharge issues are a highly specialized collecting field with different surcharge types, settings and varieties. The individual varieties have not been expertized and the stamps are therefore offered exactly as shown for specialist The stamps are without gum or have only remnants of gum. Old hinge traces, paper remnants and collector/expert markings are present on some of the backs, as shown.
